Partnership for Cutting-Edge GPR-Based Non-Invasive Underground Object Detection System between KICS UET Lahore and Prince Sattam Bin Abdul Aziz University
A significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been established between Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science (KICS), University of Engineering & Technology Lahore and Research & Development (R&D) Centre, Prince Sattam Bin Abdul Aziz University Saudi Arabia.
Prof. Dr. Waqar Mahmood, the Director of Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science (KICS), and Dr. Thamer Solaiman Saleh Almoneef, the Director of Research and Development Centre (R&D) Centre, Prince Sattam Bin Abdul-Aziz University signed the agreement. The MOU signifies their commitment to the transfer of knowledge, design, development, fabrication, and testing of a Ground-Penetrating Radar (GPR)-Based Non-Invasive Underground Object Detection System.
Through this partnership, the primary objective is to equip engineers and students of AEELab with state-of-the-art skills and knowledge, coupled with hands-on training in the development of GPR systems. This collaboration aims to foster innovation and advance research in the realm of underground object detection, promising significant advancements in this critical domain.
