Pakistan’s Largest Solar Wall Inaugurated at UET’s Kala Shah Kako Campus

Pakistan’s largest solar wall was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor UET Lahore Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid on 14th August 2018 at university’s Kala Shah Kako campus. It was launched by the Vice Chancellor in presence of faculty members, university’s officials, people from other walks of life and abundant of students. Everyone present there appreciated this step taken by CERAD (Centre for Energy Research and Development) and KICS (Al-Khawarazmi Institute of Computer Science) since it is a joint venture by both of them. This solar wall will generate 410 kilo watt energy. Talking at the occasion, Prof. Fazal emphasized on the need of energy consumption and revealed about a number of projects done and going on related to energy.
