KICS UET’s IRIL Lab Fetches Security Audit Tools for IoT Devices Project
IRIL Lab of KICS has been awarded with a project titled ‘Security Audit Tools for IoT Devices’. It has been funded by HEC National Center of Cyber Security (NCCS). The aim of this project is to develop an integrated open-source auditing tool to evaluate the security of hardware, firmware, software and communication of IoT devices. This project is potentially great in bridging industry and academia gap. And this is because that the lab is on way to develop collaborations and partnerships with both national and international entities to promote commercialization of our research projects.
The lab is working on developing secure and interoperable IoT security framework and its integration with global IoT Standards.
