KICS UET Researches on Security Audit Tools for IoT Devices
KICS UET has been working tremendously on many research projects. One of KICS’ labs – IRIL is presently working on a research projects called ‘Security Audit Tools for IoT Devices’ which is HEC National Center of Cyber Security (NCCS) funded venture. The aim of this project is to develop an integrated open-source auditing tool to evaluate the security of hardware, firmware, software and communication of IoT devices. This project is on way to develop linkage between industry and academia as the lab is on way to develop collaborations and partnerships with both national and international entities to promote commercialization of our research projects.
