Green Pakistan Campaign at UET KSK Campus – 300 Students Planted 1000 Plants on Independence Day
A tree plantation campaign was conducted at Kala Shah Kako campus of UET on 14th of August 2018 where Vice Chancellor UET Lahore Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid, Director KICE-CERAD Prof. Dr. Waqar Mahmood and other faculty members and officials of the university were present. Dr. Fazal Khalid and Dr. Waqar planted the trees at the occasion.
More than 1000 plants were planted and around 300 students took part in this plantation drive. Entire Pakistan has been participating in this Shajar Kari Moham initiated to make Pakistan green and pollution-free and UET too has been active in this plantation.
Talking to media, Vice Chancellor talked about this campaign and briefed about the benefits of plantation. He told that in order to eradicate the pollution and make our lives and country healthy, we will have to focus on plantation.
