Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science (KICS), UET, Lahore is looking for an experienced resource for the position of <\/span>Assistant Manager \u2013 Accounts<\/b>.<\/span> The incumbent will be responsible for the standard Job Description in domain of accountancy as per Industry requirement, but the core focus will be on the below requirements:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Taxation<\/b>: Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns and ensure that taxes are paid properly and on time. Maintain the active taxpayer status.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Asset Evaluation<\/b>: Keep an updated and accurate costing and depreciation record for the evaluation and disposition of fixed assets. Create the opening balances of existing assets and for external audit.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Annual Audit<\/b>: Prepare audit reports on a periodic basis, ensure the prerequisite & completion of all audit campaigns on time, assist external audit teams to achieve audit goals and objectives. Document all audit reports and findings for the top management for continuous improvement.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. General Acceptable Accounting Principal (GAAP)<\/b>: Assess financial operations and make best-practices recommendations to management as per the industry standard, donors and audit requirements. Ensures compliance with established internal & external control procedures as per HEC, UET Lahore, AGP and External Audit firms. Assist in preparing and presenting expenditure report, financial statements, Balance sheet variances & analysis and cash flow statement.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Financial Performance:<\/b> Analyze and report on trends in financial key performance indicators (KPI) associated with each lab and KICS overall, on a quarterly basis. Identify trends and develop organizational projections for annual \/quarterly\/monthly budgeting.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Automation:<\/b> Ensure the paperless financial process automation and integration with HR and SCM processes with the assistance of ERP functional and technical team. Able to visit the client, meeting for requirement elicitation, GAP Analysis, Lead the Technical Team and Project after ERP Training.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
